The Situation Project - Adopt a Hotspot

Role - Director, Producer and Editor

Synopsis:

This video was made for The Situation Project for the #AdoptaHotspot campaign, from the first-hand account of 8th grader, Valeria Cruz. With donations and support, The Situation Project was able to purchase and distribute 50 prepaid hotspots to two South Bronx middle schools in February 2021. Since then, our partner schools have reported an increase in attendance for the students who received the hotspots and, as Valeria also mentions, an improvement in performance and grades overall.
